About Auswood
Auswood International has supplied the Australian building trade since 2004. We manufacture and distribute structural timber, formwork, plywood and flooring, and hold it in stock at four branches: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth.
We are a factory direct supplier. We control the product from the mill through to the truck that pulls onto your site — fewer hands in the chain, fewer markups, and one company answerable for what turns up.

Auswood was founded in 2004 at Milperra in Sydney’s south west. We started out supplying formwork materials to Sydney concreters — not a forgiving corner of the trade, and one that taught us the thing that still drives the business: on a job site, the product either turns up right or it costs somebody a day.
Melbourne came next, then Brisbane. In 2025 we opened a warehouse and distribution centre in Cockburn, Perth, which gave us national coverage.
Along the way we stopped just distributing other people’s product and started making our own. That is where the enviroSeries range came from.
What we stand for
Four things, and we would rather show them than say them.
Safety
A product that fails on site is a safety problem before it is a commercial one. Structural product we sell is manufactured and tested against the Australian Standard it is specified to.
Quality
Our name goes on our own range. When something is not right there is nobody else to point at, which is a good reason to get it right the first time.
Innovation
enviroSeries exists because customers kept asking for products the market was not supplying properly. So we built them.
Growth
Four branches now. We open where our customers are working, not where it looks good on a map.
Our own range: enviroSeries
enviroSeries is Auswood’s own product line. Because we specify and manufacture it, we control the documentation, the tolerances and the supply — which matters when you are twelve weeks into a program and the substitute is not the same product.
